| Remembrance Sunday |
The annual remembrance ceremony is held at the War Memorial at the south end of Shepperton High Street. The ceremony is led by the Rector of St Nicholas Church, who leads the procession from Church Square to the Memorial. Many local organisations are represented including the two Rotary clubs. In the past, our most senior member Alf Pitfield was chairman of the local British Legion and gave the address. The photo immediately below shows him reciting the words that we will remember those who gave so much. Then the Last Post is sounded.
