November 20th  2000

A Special Club Meeting during which the President of the Rotary Club of Shepperton had the pleasure of introducing Anita Farrant, previously a Shepperton Rotaractor, into Rotary.  Dick explained the benefits of membership of Rotary, the friendship, the world-wide strength and the satisfaction that comes from participating in Rotary initiatives.

Stuart Carpenter was our guest speaker and he gave a fascinating talk about his journey from Egypt by land across the Middle East.


The last meeting of 2000

The last meeting of the year started with the induction of Nick Walters who's Rotary Classification is Medical Osteopathy.  Nick has established a practice in Shepperton, previously having been in the RAF.  Nick will serve on the Vocational Services Committee.

February 5th 2001 

David Fear joined the Rotary Club of Shepperton during the first meeting of February 2001.

David has lived in Shepperton for over fifteen years and has been active in the Residents Association.  He explained how much he was looking forward to enjoying being a Rotarian and how he had been impressed by the friendliness and achievements of the Shepperton Club already.
