A regular feature of our club calendar is a holiday on the Isle of Wight for a needy family - all expenses paid.

Club members drive the family to Portsmouth to take the ferry across to the island. The caravan is owned by the Rotary Club of Ryde and is situated at the Haven caravan holiday camp.

The man shown in the photograph by the caravan is Alan Jones, a member of Ryde Rotary Club and an ex-member and President of the Rotary Club of Shepperton.

The family, a single mother and two children aged three and two, were driven there and back and had a super holiday.
